In Impernor y Asbitra Asociados S.L. we are proud to have the homologation of installers of sodium bentonite. For us it is more than a verification, it is a necessity that arose after the diverse works carried out, throughout the years, with this clay waterproofing of volcanic origin. Both our supplier, CETCO, and ourselves, thought it was convenient to collaborate in order to obtain this homologation that certifies us as installers of this product. To do so, we had to carry out specific training aimed at various departments: technical, production and assembly.

This is how sodium bentonite installation is carried out

The application of this waterproofing is carried out in buried structures under a strict work system. A requirement that guarantees the professionalism of the personnel and the efficiency of the product. Prior to installation, the ground is thoroughly inspected and the procedures to be used are studied so that, at the end of the work, the correct watertightness of the assembly can be certified under the HydroShield Guarantee. All these tasks are carried out by an inspector belonging to an external company that also guarantees the correct performance of our personnel and the proposed system.

Projects in which Impernor Asbitra has installed sodium bentonite

Among the last works that we have carried out with sodium bentonite is the so-called Cathedral of New Technologies (Villaverde).. A project carried out together with U.T.E. Boetticher, formed by F.C.C. Construcción and Dragados, S.A. Two of our historical clients and with whom, at present, we continue collaborating. We have also applied bentonite for the construction of housing or in the subway parking in Moret Avenue, within the new urban development of Zaragoza. A work that we have executed with Avintia Proyectos y Construcciones, S.L.
