For this reason, our client CONSTRUCTORA SAN JOSE, S.A. has once again placed its trust in us and has awarded us the first units of the Mogan Mall Shopping Centerlocated in Puerto Rico, a town on the coast of the municipality of Mogán, in the south of the island of Gran Canaria.
The project, owned by Fund Grube Group and designed by architect José María Aguirre Vila-Coro, will open in 2019 and will be built on a former Atlántida water park.
The plot has a surface area of more than 60,000 square meters, of which 44,062 square meters will be used for commercial and restaurant areas. Mogán Mall will have 144 stores, including fashion stores, beauty stores and restaurants. All this has involved an investment of 38 million euros.
The stores will be arranged along an axis parallel to the main street, Avenida Tomás Roca Bosch, while the restaurants and leisure facilities will be located on the slope of the Barranco de Puerto Rico ravine, accessible via two mechanical walkways.
As a special feature, this shopping center will have a square presided over by the largest water fountain ever built in the Canary Islands, measuring 30 meters wide and covering 300 m² of water. It will undoubtedly be one of the attractions of the complex with its spectacle of images through the games projected by the water jets and lights.
