The Martiricos Towers, with their 30 floors and 110 meters in height, are the tallest residential buildings in Andalusia and the second tallest, taking into account all uses, behind the Seville Tower.
Specifically, the North Tower, which will house apartments and hotels, has reached 111.5 meters in height, while the South Tower, dedicated exclusively to residential use, is slightly lower, at 106.7 meters.
The North Tower, which is moving forward with a slight delay, will house 198 rental units and two hotels: one of the Staybridge chain, with 105 rooms, and another of the Hilton group, with more than 200 rooms. Both will be four-star establishments.
The Staybridge will occupy floors 2 to 6 while the Hilton will be on floors 6 to 13. Each will have its own access, as will the building's neighbors.
With 106.7 and 111.5 meters respectively, 77,000 square meters, 450 residences and 305 rooms in the two hotel spaces, they are already an emblem for the city . They are practically visible from any point in the capital, giving it its own skyline, and represent an investment of some 175 million euros.
The first buyers of this project were local clients, people from Malaga who were looking for an apartment to live in or to invest in, but over time this profile has changed and more and more buyers from other parts of Spain and even abroad have been buying an apartment.
In the South Tower, more than 80% of the homes have already been sold, ranging from 250,000 to 600,000 euros, and the jewels in the crown have not yet been put on sale: several penthouses with large terraces and stunning views.
Regarding the visual impact of these towers, something that has aroused controversy in the city, the director of the towers' developer in Andalusia confirmed that "any urban regeneration operation raises all kinds of opinions. There will be people for and against, but this action comes to regenerate the urban space and to bring a new modern architecture fruit of this innovative Malaga of the last years".
The 252-story South Tower will be completed by the end of this year, while the North Tower will be completed a few months later, in early 2024.
The homes will also have the energy rating of the BREEAM® Spain certificate, a certification that is more than relevant for the most innovative and environmentally responsible constructions.
With AQ Acentor as promoters, Morph Estudio as designers and executed by Grupo Avintia, this is a successful project that will help redraw Malaga's skyline.
We are very proud to be part of this type of groundbreaking projects and to continue contributing to the present and future of cities.
