In September 2018 we shared with you a very important news for Impernor y Asbitra Asociados, S.L.: thanks to our extensive experience in the waterproofing of shopping centers, our company became a benchmark in the sector in the Canary Islands. A location where we have carried out important projects, such as the Alisios Shopping Center. Alisios Shopping Center or the El Mirón Shopping Center. The quality of our work speaks for us. For this reason, our client Constructora San José has not hesitated to trust us to carry out projects of great importance and scope. This was demonstrated again when they awarded us the first units of the Mogan Mall Shopping Center. And so it has shown again since...
Specifically, our work in this new commercial area, designed by Aguirre Asociados, in collaboration with landscape architect Flora Pescador, and built by Constructora San José, will focus on:
5200 m2 of waterproofing of wall with asphalt and drainage membrane.
8000 m2 of waterproofing of technical and non-trafficable roofs with asphalt sheets, geotextiles and XPS insulation.
16000 m2 of waterproofing in pedestrian decks, parking and water sheets.
2000 m2 of waterproofing of landscaped roofs.
This project is scheduled to be inaugurated in the fall of 2019 with a built-up area of 44,062 square meters and a total area of 60,000 square meters. Inside there will be 144 stores, including fashion stores, beauty stores and restaurants, spread over a total area of 18,000 square meters. A special feature of Mogan Mall is a square presided over by the largest water fountain ever built in the Canary Islands, some 30 meters wide and with a 300-square-meter sheet of water. The Mogan Mall has required an investment of approximately 38 million euros and will employ more than 700 people.
The developers have decided to bring the development of the site to fruition in order to complete an adjacent project that has been paralyzed for more than 30 years. Therefore, about 675 square meters have been reserved for the construction of a multi-religious church, which was already planned but never materialized. The work has also been commissioned to Constructora San José.
