Everything is ready for the inauguration this week of a new project in Madrid: the Television City. A Pharaonic work that has involved an investment of 30 million euros and in which Impernor Asbitra has worked thanks to the confidence that has returned to us the Constructora San Joséwhich awarded us the waterproofing and insulation units for the entire project.

Impernor Asbitra has carried out the waterproofing and insulation of the largest production center in Europe.

This project was born with the intention of meeting the current technological needs of the sector and becoming the nerve center of the audiovisual industry, not only in Spain but also in Europe, two maxims that have made Television City house the headquarters of two major tenants. On the one hand, there is one of the largest European television producers, Mediapro, a group that will present its facilities on Tuesday, April 2. On the other hand, the streaming giant, Netflix, a company that will present its facilities on Thursday, April 4. Both companies will take Tres Cantos (Madrid) as an enclave to expand into the international market through its modern facilities, with more than 22,000 square meters. Among them are three soundproof sets of 1,200 square meters, a campus that aims to reach 15 sets in 2020 and several spaces where all phases of the audiovisual processes will be agglutinated.

Why Constructora San José chose Impernor Asbitra

If there are two qualities that characterize us are quality and professionalism. In Impernor and Asbitra Asociados S.L. we face each project putting 200% of each of us. Thanks to this and to our extensive and successful joint experience in other large-scale projects, such as the Plaza Río Shopping Center or the Real Madrid Sports City, Constructora San José chose us again to carry out this project.

Storm tanks and ponds

The control of rainwater is becoming increasingly important in view of the unpredictable effects of storms or the increase in impervious surfaces as a result of urban growth. In response to these situations and to combat the environmental problems arising from them, the aim is to equip modern networks with rainwater regulating elements and systems, such as stormwater ponds.
