The expansion of the Santa Bárbara Hospital in Soria responds to the need to provide the health center with new, more efficient facilities adapted to the growing healthcare demands of the province.
This project has made it possible to modernize the hospital complex, incorporating more functional spaces and improving services for both patients and healthcare professionals.
The intervention involved the construction of a new building annexed to the existing hospital, with specialized areas for outpatient consultations, hospitalization and support services. In addition, architectural solutions have been integrated to promote energy efficiency and sustainability, optimizing thermal comfort and reducing the consumption of resources.
The new 17,000-square-meter expansion building will include rehabilitation units, outpatient clinics, laboratories, an assembly hall, kitchen and teaching facilities, as well as parking, storage, maintenance workshops and an outpatient mental health area.
The expansion not only strengthens the hospital's healthcare capacity, but also contributes to improving the accessibility and quality of medical care in Soria and its area of influence.
This project is part of a strategic plan to modernize healthcare infrastructures in the region, guaranteeing more advanced and safer facilities for citizens.
