A modern hospital unit for the Alentejo region. Acciona Construcción has undertaken its largest project to date in Portugal in Évora. With a budget of 149 million euros, the aim is to provide the population with an innovative hospital unit that includes all the necessary functional groups.

The main objective of this ambitious project is to provide the population of Évora and the entire Alentejo region with a modern hospital unit.

It will have 10 floors, 400 beds, more than 127,000 m2 of green areas, 1,560 parking spaces and a heliport. It also incorporates various facilities such as:

  • Inpatient units.
  • Technical assistance units.
  • Outpatient care units.
  • Assistance support units.
  • General support and training units.

In this project, the HP SitePrint robot has been implemented for the first time in Portugal, and on an ongoing basis, to improve efficiency at the Hospital's construction sites. The robot, a mobile unit equipped with wheels and a specialized print head, is designed to operate in collaboration with human workers, who remain essential in the preparation of drawings and operation of the equipment.
