Valdebebas Madrid Interchange

Infrastructure projectsView site

The Valdebebas Interchange is a strategic infrastructure designed to improve mobility in the northeast of Madrid. With a floor area of 6,835 square meters distributed over two floors, the building facilitates the connection between various modes of public transport, including suburban lines, urban and interurban buses, and in the future, the extension of Metro Line 11.

Main Performances

  • Transportation Infrastructure: Integration of suburban lines C-1 and C-10, urban bus lines 171 and 174, and preparation for the future extension of Metro Line 11.
  • Construction: Construction of a two-story building with waiting areas, commercial premises and service areas for users.
  • Sustainability: Installation of energy efficiency systems, including a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption that covers approximately 20% of the building's energy demand.
  • Design and Urbanism: Implementation of a unique architectural design with metal structures in the form of inverted trees and the creation of an adjacent 17,000 square meter plaza with green areas and recreational spaces.

This project reinforces the connectivity and accessibility of Valdebebas, benefiting more than 35,000 daily users and contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
