The Secuoya Group's Ciudad de la Televisión in Tres Cantos is the largest audiovisual center in Spain. It has more than 22,000 square meters, distributed in 10 television studios and other spaces created for the development of the audiovisual industry: sets, production, post-production and realization, just 20 kilometers from the center of Madrid. An important and colossal project that was born with the vocation of becoming a reference within the sector and in which more than 20 million euros have been invested.
In terms of its architecture, Television City is an architectural response based on functionality, versatility and flexibility. A unique construction that has been created under the premises of efficiency and structured around two key elements: the access plaza, the backbone of connection to the distributor; and the climate control courtyard, around which the creative activity takes place and the production centers are arranged.
Everything in this project is aimed at preserving the environment through energy efficiency. Therefore, the building is compact and closed in on itself to reduce energy costs and optimize its use, reducing interior distances to the minimum possible. While the work spaces are oriented to courtyards and are temperature controlled in order to achieve the highest energy efficiency.
The TV City already has a renowned tenant: Netflix. The well-known American entertainment company has chosen as its first production center on European soil this enclave located north of the capital and in which Impernor and Asbitra Asociados S.L. has carried out the execution of the waterproofing and insulation units thanks to the trust placed in the company by our client Constructora San José.
