The Canary Islands has been one of the most frequented destinations in this 2020 at tourist level, since it is composed of 8 islands which are a wonder for our country. Specifically in La Palma according to the data provided by ''Turismo de Canarias''
we can see that the data have decreased compared to last year, with a 60% difference, given the circumstances.

It should be noted that the airport has multiple daily connections with the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. It also offers several weekly frequencies with Madrid, and with some European cities (such as Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom).

This project was executed using a two-layer asphalt sheeting system consisting of a primer, a 3 kg SBS fiberglass sheet (unprotected surface asphalt sheets with a plastic film finish. They are composed of a reinforcement coated on both sides with a bituminous mastic of modified bitumen) and a 4.8 kg sheet of polyester fiber parking type SBS.

Asphalt sheets are flexible laminated elements, composed of bituminous substances derived from asphalt, which adhere to any surface exposed to humidity or with the possibility of possible humidity, since no other system of this specialty has so many qualities and characteristics suitable for this task, it is one of the most popular techniques in the sector that offers an advanced and effective solution for a correct waterproofing.

The objective of this project was to insulate and waterproof 19,500.00 m2 in the aforementioned areas, thus contributing to the improvement of the facilities.
