If there is something really important to us, it is people. Ensuring that they enjoy conditions that meet the highest standards of well-being are the ultimate goal of each of our projects, especially in the health sector, where we have extensive experience in the development of large-scale works.

Commitment, professionalism and quality are three values that differentiate us and that our clients know well. For this reason, the joint venture formed by FCC Construcción and FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas, has trusted Impernor Asbitra to award us all the units of the Santa Bárbara Hospital in Soria.

This will be our participation in the Santa Bárbara Hospital in Soria.

At present, work has already begun on the extension and refurbishment of the Santa Bárbara Hospital in Soria. The plan will be executed with an investment of 27,191,710.48 euros and will be carried out in two phases, over a period of four years, while the health center remains open.

During this period, we will work on a total of 34,000 square meters, where we will develop all the waterproofing and insulation units for walls and roofs. Our participation will also be carried out in two stages:

First stage - Our work will focus on the extension building, the mental health outpatient area, the basement with parking and storage facilities, as well as the extension of the facilities gallery to the current south wing of the hospital.

Second stage - Our work is expected to focus on the refurbishment of the east and south wings of the health center.

When the work is completed in 2023, Soria will have a modern and efficient hospital complex that will offer its inhabitants new and improved facilities, reducing waiting lists and increasing services.

Our priority, people's health

At Impernor Asbitra we are concerned that the comfort, safety and durability of the hospital complexes in which we work remain optimal for people's health, and we are currently applying this premise in several projects:

Toledo Hospital

We are working for a safer future with a present of commitment to people also in Toledo, where we are carrying out our activity in a project that will provide the city of La Mancha with a more modern and complete healthcare center. The new Toledo Hospital will be inaugurated at the beginning of 2020 and will improve the healthcare services provided at the Virgen de la Salud Hospital.

Salamanca Hospital

At present, we are also working to ensure that the new hospital in Salamanca will be completed in early 2020. Among the new facilities that the complex will be equipped with are: three magnetic resonance nuclear resonances; three new-generation CAT scans; and the incorporation of robotic surgery.

Guadalajara Hospital

In this health center, we carried out waterproofing and insulation works, both in its expansion and renovation, so that the people of Caracas will have access to more and better health services. When the work is completed, this hospital will have an additional 111,000 square meters, where users will be able to enjoy 330 new beds, improved treatment units and innovative facilities.

Cuenca Hospital

In Cuenca, our mission is also to help build a project that provides effective, efficient and safe alternatives for citizens. To this end, we are participating in the University Hospital of Cuenca, where we are developing the first waterproofing units of the complex.

University of Navarra Clinic

This project is a milestone in our continent since it incorporates, for the first time in Europe, a Hitachi proton unit present in academic medical centers of international reference. This cutting-edge technology is of great technical complexity, which is why we were chosen to develop all the waterproofing and isolation units. As a result, the new cancer treatment unit will start treating patients in the first quarter of 2020 and will host the Proton Therapy world congress in 2022.
