This is a very attractive option for the elderly population. In this model, a group of individuals decide to move into an adapted independent housing development or community, where they share services such as cleaning, participate in leisure activities and share common spaces.

Cohousing stands out for fostering close relationships between neighbors, while guaranteeing the economic independence and privacy of each resident.

A differential project

In the case of Jubilar Villa Rosita, we are faced with a collaborative housing project, of a social and non-profit nature. A private space that operates under the regime of cession of use and welfare commitment.

The main objective of the project is to improve the well-being of its residents, following the principles of the World Health Organization on active aging and intergenerational solidarity, as well as the models of comprehensive person-centered care.

Its purpose is to create a sustainable lifestyle and, together, to live in a space prone to generate a good physical and mental health condition, avoiding dependence as much as possible.

Beyond sharing a natural physical space, its cooperative members seek to exchange a wide variety of goods and knowledge, fostering lasting relationships.

The construction

Construction of Jubilar Villa Rosita began in July 2023 and is being carried out on a 14,674 m² plot of land. Of this, more than 10,000 m² are landscaped forest area, and a little more than 3,000 m² are destined for the buildings.

These are 29 accessible, dignified and comfortable residential units, which are environmentally friendly and facilitate collaboration. These units are distributed in 6 blocks, 3 two-story and 3 single-story. The common areas are located in one-story buildings, allowing integration in a plot with valuable trees and complex topography.

In order to enhance community life, each residential unit has a double orientation, with access and a public side facing the common house, as well as a private side with private outdoor space. A multipurpose area is also incorporated near the main entrance for the development of activities open to the neighborhood.

Accessibility, of course, is a priority both outdoors and indoors.

At Impais we are proud to be able to participate in social projects, thanks to clients such as ACR.
