At Impernor Asbitra we are celebrating. Last January 16, 2018 we received the "Licensed Contractor" award, an award that Firestone gives to the best installers of the Firestone Red Shield™ roofing system worldwide. A distinction, with which the American firm recognizes the best companies in the industry for their exemplary installation, quality of work and customer service.
Firestone has awarded us with this distinction for the volume and quality of our projects carried out with its waterproofing systems.
Clínica Universidad Navarra - Madrid
Built by Arpada, S.A, and inaugurated in November last year, the Navarra University Clinic in Madrid has been an exciting project for Impernor Asbitra where 25,000 m2 of Firestone Red Shield™ have been used to waterproof the new hospital located in the capital of Madrid.
Vodafone Plaza - Madrid
Also in the corporate headquarters of Vodafone in Madrid, we used the material marketed by Firestone. The waterproofing works were carried out in the renovation of the central square where more than 10,000 m2. of RubberGard membrane were installed. The management of the works was carried out by Tétris, specialists in Design and Construction.
Remodeling Plaza Barceló - Madrid
The Firestone Red Shield™ has also been used in the comprehensive renovation of Madrid's Plaza Barceló. The project, "Jardines del Arquitecto Rivera", was designed in collaboration between the city council and neighbors, with popular consultation and voting. Built by Acciona Infraestructuras, S.A. It has 6,000 m2 of waterproofing made with E.P.D.M. sheeting over the subway parking of the square.
Bankinter Headquarters - Alcobendas (Madrid)
Similarly, in the Bankinter headquarters located in the Madrid town of Alcobendas, built by Constructora San José, S.A. and inaugurated last 2017, 3,500 m2 of Red Shield™ were used.
Residential projects
More than 10,000 m2 installed in 400 homes in different residential projects in Spain.
Kirchberg, a Tyrolean town in Austria, received on January 14 representatives of the distinctive companies that work with Firestone products, including Impernor and Asbitra asociados, S.L. The meeting, which lasted four days, served to share different topics between the company that distributes the material (Firestone Building Products) and its distributors worldwide, all surrounded by an incomparable alpine mountain setting, ideal for the enjoyment of novice skiers and some more experienced ones. Also, attention was focused on ways of working with customers that lead to excellence (both in the product and in the installation service): studies of winds and BOQ, site visits, training of installers or presentations at conferences, among other issues.
Other topics covered were: sales and financial review of FirestoneBP Spain and Rollgum, TPO and EPDM projects in Spain 2017. Also, a review of available prefabricated downspouts and modifications to the new DIT RubberGard EPDM was carried out and the awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, January 16 in Kirchberg. On behalf of Impernor and Asbitra asociados, S.L., our CPO, Mr. Álvaro Sierra López, attended the event and received the "Licensed Contractor 2018" award from the General Manager of Firestone Building Products, Mr. Joan Palou Moreno and the Technical Manager of Madrid, Mr. Fernando González.
Due to the volume and relevance of the projects completed and those currently under development, we are extremely pleased to inform you that Firestone has awarded us the qualification "Master Contractor 2019", the highest accreditation granted by the American brand. The award will be presented at a ceremony to be held in early 2019.
