We expanded the first private hospital in Spain.

Impais joins Arpada in the expansion of the first private hospital in Spain: a milestone for healthcare innovation in the Community of Madrid.

This year 2024 marks the 26th anniversary of the creation of this pioneering center, which marked a before and after by competing with the public health system in terms of complexity and technology, offering comprehensive and prestigious care. It was the first hospital in Spain to receive ISO accreditation for all its services and the first in the Community of Madrid to achieve university accreditation, in addition to being authorized to train MIR residents.

The construction of a new building, located on the old parking lot, is currently underway with an investment of 30 million euros. This ambitious project aims to create a campus that will house the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Camilo José Cela University. Camilo José Cela Universityunder the umbrella of the HM Hospitales group. Thanks to this expansion, Boadilla del Monte will adopt the title of 'university city', as it will become home to students of Medicine, Nursing and other undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

The new building, with a surface area of 6,000 m2, has been designed with criteria of sustainability and respect for the environment, and will have classrooms, a library, anatomy rooms, laboratories, advanced simulation areas, and three subway parking levels.

In addition, it will be the new headquarters of HM CIEC and HM Eye Center, together with the new outpatient clinics. The Emergency Department will also be expanded, increasing the capacity for simultaneous patient care, and the hospital's primary care area will be renovated.

The hospital division, Impais' backbone

We have always had a very clear objective as a company: to do everything in our power to help communities prosper. And, of course, everything starts with health and optimizing the healthcare services available to citizens.

In recent years we have participated, and continue to do so, in the construction, refurbishment and expansion of more than 25 hospitals throughout the Iberian Peninsula, with the hospital division being one of the most important for us.

Exciting and relevant projects such as the Isabel Zendal Hospital in Madrid, the new Surgical Center of Gregorio Marañón, the new Hospitalization Building of 12 de Octubre, the University Clinic of Salamanca, the new Hospital of Cuenca, the HM Rivas Vaciamadrid or the expected HCA in Évora (Portugal).
