Los Alisios Shopping Center

The Alisios Shopping Center, which opened at the end of 2017, is located in the northern part of the island of Gran Canaria, so it has become the reference trade for the surrounding towns of Tamaraceite, Arucas, Teror, Santa Brígida, Telde or Galdar.

Developed by Grupo Hermanos Domínguez, Alisios has a total surface area of 165,000 square meters with a total of 120 commercial premises and 70 restaurants. It also has 2,500 parking spaces.

The complex, which has required an investment of more than 150 million euros, is located on a plot of land larger than that of other island shopping centers, such as Las Arenas, and has provided jobs for more than 1,500 local inhabitants.

The shopping center is structured in several buildings around open streets, squares with terraces and a space dedicated exclusively to leisure. The idea came from architect Mikel Barriola Azaldegui, a member of the well-known Chapman Taylor architecture firm, who made it the only shopping center whose design is inspired by the island's orography: an area of dunes, volcanoes, sky and crops.
