Since ancient times, man has felt the need to communicate and express what he feels and thinks. An innate aspect that has been satisfied through the reproduction of images, first through drawings or paintings and, as the centuries progressed and, with them, the new technologies, through photography, cinema or television.
A technological evolution that has resulted in the audiovisual media we know today and that would not have been possible without their adaptation through infrastructures. What would cave paintings be without caves with optimal humidity conditions? What would the Lumière brothers have done without conditioned spaces for their props? What would we do now without television sets with the best acoustic or waterproofing conditions?
Television has its beginnings in the nineteenth century and already in the twentieth century, specifically in 1927, the first broadcasts were made by the BBC. In the 60s and 70s, due to the development of cable and satellite, its reach increased considerably, while in the 90s the commercial models of TV were consolidated worldwide.
Since then, changes in the evolution of image, sound, production or post-production of audiovisual materials have occurred at a dizzying pace and always sheltered by the best infrastructures.
In order to meet the current technological needs of this sector, Grupo Secuoya is immersed in the "Television City" project (Tres Cantos), which was created with the intention of becoming a benchmark in the sector with its more than 20,000 square meters, where all phases of the audiovisual processes, from production to distribution, will be brought together in the same space.
Therefore, we are proud to be part of this work thanks to the confidence that has returned to Impernor and Asbitra Asociados S.L. Constructora San José, which has awarded us the entire project to execute the waterproofing and insulation units of four sets, production or post-production areas, among others.
We are also developing our specialties in RTVE's new studios 6 and 7 in Prado del Rey, a production center that was inaugurated in 1964 with a total area of 3,046 square meters and the largest television studio in Europe.
In this emblematic building, which has been a spectator of technological advances for more than 50 years, we are currently working on the first phase of the seven phases of these premises of Corporación Radio TV Española, S.A., thanks to the confidence placed in Impernor Asbitra by our client Construcciones Sando, S.A.
We acquired these new projects thanks to our experience gained by carrying out large-scale works for some of our clients, with whom we are currently proud to continue working.
With them, we have developed complexes such as Antena 3 (San Sebastián de los Reyes), Torrespaña (Madrid Capital) or Ciudad de la Imagen (Pozuelo de Alarcón). We have also worked, as main company, for the well-known production companies of Mr. Paco Lobatón "REDacción 7" and Mr. Enrique Cerezo, "Enrique Cerezo - Producciones Cinematográficas".
